The National Highway Authority (NHA) has announced a 7 percent increase in toll rates for commuters using the Lahore-Islamabad Motorway (M-2), with the revised charges coming into effect from July 5, 2026. According to an official notification, the revised toll rates will remain applicable until April 23, 2027.
The increase is being implemented under the concession agreement signed between the NHA and Motorway Operations and Rehabilitation Engineering (Private) Limited, a subsidiary of the Frontier Works Organization (FWO), for the overlay and modernization of the Lahore-Islamabad Motorway.
The revised toll rates for different vehicle categories are as follows:

Motorists traveling on the Lahore-Islamabad Motorway are advised to take note of the revised toll rates before planning their journeys, as the new charges will become effective from July 5, 2026.
