Alleged Xiaomi Black Shark 4 Pro Spotted on Google Play Console

Last month, Xiaomi Black Shark 4 was spotted on the Google Play Console with the model number “KSR-A0” and codename “Kaiser”. Now another phone has been spotted on the platform with the model number “PSR-A0” and it is rumored to be the Black Shark 4 Pro.

One strange aspect about this listing, however, is that the phone is listed with the Snapdragon 865 SoC, which featured in last year’s Black Shark 3 series. The base Black Shark 4 was also listed with the outdated Snapdragon 835. It appears that the chipsets are incorrectly mentioned for the two phones as both of them are expected to feature the new 5nm Snapdragon 888 chip.

The listing also reveals that the Black Shark 4 Pro will have up to 12GB of RAM and a punch-hole selfie camera in the center. The screen size is unknown, but the listing says that it will have an FHD+ resolution with a 20:9 aspect ratio. This seems unlikely as the Black Shark 3 Pro had 2K resolution on top of a 90Hz AMOLED panel.

We expect to see the same display specifications on the Black Shark 4 Pro, possibly with a higher refresh rate.

The left side of the phone will have a volume rocker, while the right side will likely have shoulder buttons for gaming. It is also expected to feature 120W fast charging, which is currently the world’s fastest.
