Minhaj-ul-Quran has officially received the status of a board and will now be called Nizam Al Madaris Pakistan. A statement regarding this development was made by the Secretary-General of Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT), Khurram Nawaz Gandapur, alongside Allama Imdad Ullah Qadri.
Besides the status update, the senior clerics discussed reforms in the syllabus of religious education. They added that the country needs to receive updated guidelines on religious teachings and reforms to stay clear of problems posed by extremism, intolerance, sectarianism, and terrorism.
In concluding remarks, the PAT secretary general lauded the government for setting up board seminaries across the country.
