Discussing the project in detail, CM Khan stated that the new university will be crucial for KP’s backdrop of the National Agriculture Emergency Plan, adding that the project will also provide full access to quality courses in agriculture, and will bootstrap the existing farmers’ pool into better facilities and improved undertakings.

As suggested in previous meetings and feasibility reports, the university will be at the Takhta Band Research Centre for the first three years until a separate campus is constructed for it.
