Realme 8 and 8 Pro Specs and Design Get Officially Detailed

Realme 8 and 8 Pro have been in the works for a while now. However, not many leaks regarding the handsets have surfaced during this time.

Whatever information we have, has been revealed by the company executives. Recently, the brand’s CEO Madhav Sheth posted a photo of the phone and its retail box on Twitter, essentially revealing all major specifications and features.

The smartphone will come with a 6.4-inch Super AMOLED panel. This will be the first Realme mid-range phone to sport an AMOLED. All the other mid-range phones by the company are built around LCD panels.

Surprisingly, the smartphone will come with the same chipset its predecessor came with, i.e., Helio G95. It will also sport a 5,000 mAh battery with 30W Dart Charge like the Realme 7. Moreover, Realme 8 will come with a similar 64 MP camera setup. However, the overall design of the setup is different. At the back of the phone, “DARE TO LEAP” is printed in huge letters. Apart from the AMOLED display panel and the new design, the phone seems identical to its predecessor.

In other news, the Realme 8 Pro will flaunt the 108 MP camera sensor. Interestingly enough, the photo uploaded by Sheth was taken with the Realme 8 Pro, which is evident from the watermark. However, the image itself is not spectacular, the camera only managed to focus on a tiny part of the retail box.

The launch date of the series is still under wraps.
