Smartphone brand vivo has officially launched its premium X series phones in Pakistan. According to the company, the X series features premium designs, flagship-level performance, and professional-grade photography capabilities to users.
vivo’s X series introduces the vivo-ZEISS co-engineered Imaging System that aims to redefine the mobile photography experience. The combined best-in-class optical lenses, sensors, image processing algorithms, and many other features, says vivo, allow users to enjoy camera technologies previously only limited to professional photographers.
vivo recently launched the first X series smartphone, the X60 Pro, in Pakistan. It is one of the first X series devices to be designed in collaboration with ZEISS, a global leader in optics and optoelectronics.
ZEISS brings into the partnership its unique expertise in mobile imaging, lens design, and system integration, while vivo’s optics team has always been dedicated to miniaturization and differentiation as well as efficiency maximization in imaging, combined with its expertise in imaging software and algorithms.
“This global strategic imaging partnership is between a global technology company which celebrates its 175th anniversary in 2021, and a 25 years young dynamic vivo which is successfully exploring new markets,” said Sebastian Doentgen, Head of Product Management and Marketing at ZEISS Group.
“So vivo and ZEISS have a lot in common. We both value an entrepreneurial spirit and, we both love passionately imaging. Together with vivo we strive to develop the premium tools for ambitious consumers and photographers need to realize their creative aspirations. To achieve this goal, we see beyond limitations of today’s technology,” he added.
The collaboration has helped vivo absorb ZEISS’ optical design philosophy which enabled it to optimize imaging on the X60 series. Moreover, X60 Pro has implemented ZEISS Biotar portrait style to reproduce the signature bokeh by leveraging advanced technologies including progressive bokeh simulation and distributed blurred spot rotation.
Moreover, vivo’s X series also comes equipped with Gimbal Stabilization 2.0, which stabilizes the image across five axes, allowing for cleaner and clearer motion photography.
The inbuilt features like Pixel Shift Ultra HD Imaging, Superb Night Camera 2.0, and Extreme Night Vision 2.0 produce ultra-clear and vibrant images, day and night. The VIS 5-Axis Video Stabilization combats shaking from all angles, delivering a professional-level photography and cinematography experience to users.
Powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 870, the X series smartphones ensure superior performance and smooth user experiences. The energy-efficient processors also contain integrated 5G basebands that can make the user’s 5G wireless network lightning fast with minimal latency.
With Ultra-Thin Quad-Curve designs and futuristic aesthetics, the X Series smartphones boast super-slender curves and a comfortable hold. The rear cameras come encased within the New Dual-Tone Step, an ingenious layered design that refrains from an otherwise bulky look.
Fashioned in thin cascading panels that rise in subtle steps, the new Dual-Tone Step integrates all the professional-grade imaging technologies and photography features co-engineered with ZEISS.
vivo’s X series’ first smartphone, X60 Pro, is available across Pakistan at the price of Rs. 129,999 only. For more details, visit the official product page: https://www.vivo.com/pk/products/x60pro
