ProPakistani’s Chief Brand Officer Makes it to Forbes 30 Under 30 Asia List

Shayan Mahmud, Chief Brand Officer at ProPakistani and Managing Partner at Eikon7, has made it to the highly coveted Forbes 30 under 30 Asia List 2021.

Mahmud is the managing partner of Eikon7, an advertising and digital marketing agency with offices in Pakistan as well as Romania, Rwanda and the U.A.E. He’s also the Chief Brand Officer at ProPakistani, Pakistan’s largest independent digital publisher.

Aside from helping the agency grow to more than 100 employees in Pakistan, Mahmud oversees Trademor, an Eikon7 subsidiary that helps small- and medium-sized enterprises with sales and marketing on e-commerce platforms like China’s Alibaba. Mahmud holds a bachelor’s degree in international business from the Regent’s University London.

“I’m honored and humbled to have been included in the sough-after list,” said Mahmud while commenting on the development. “I congratulate all other Pakistanis who made it to the list, and look forward to a more fulfilling future through hard work and commitment. I also thank all my colleagues at ProPakistani, Eikon7, and Trademor for their constant support and trust.”

“The individuals on this year’s Forbes 30 Under 30 Asia list have managed to survive, succeed and inspire others in the midst of business, social and personal challenges brought about by the Covid-19 pandemic — a testament to their determination, fearlessness and hard work,” said Rana Wehbe Watson, Forbes 30 Under 30 Asia Editor.

The 30 Under 30 list recognizes and highlights the next generation of talent. Mahmud’s achievement comes under the Media, Marketing & Advertising category.
