Vivo iQOO 7 Legend Goes Official With Flagship Specs And BMW Branding

Vivo’s latest flagship series, the iQOO 7, has finally gone global after becoming official in China. Alongside the base iQOO 7, the iQOO 7 Legend is tagging along as well, which is mostly the same as the iQOO 7 but with the Snapdragon 888 SoC and the BMW branding.

Design and Display

The screen is a 6.62” AMOLED panel with 1080p resolution and a smooth 120Hz refresh rate. A tiny punch-hole selfie camera sits at the center and the surrounding bezels are minimal. The optical fingerprint sensor is placed near the bottom of the display.

The signature BMW branding can be seen on the back with tri-color stripes running across the corner. The familiar triangle-shaped camera setup can be seen as well in a large housing just above a metal plate for the flash.

Internals and Storage

The iQOO 7 Legend is loaded with top-notch hardware such as the Snapdragon 888, LPDDR5 RAM, and UFS 3.1 storage. The thermals are kept in check with a liquid cooling-powered vapor chamber. The two memory configurations available are 8GB/128GB and 12GB/256GB.

On the software front, you get Vivo’s Funtouch OS 11.1 based on Android 11.

Cameras

The main 48MP camera comes alongside a 13MP ultrawide snapper and a 13MP telephoto camera capable of 2x optical zoom. This camera is able to record 1080p videos as well as 4K videos though you only get 60 FPS on 1080p recording.

The punch-hole front camera is a 16MP shooter.

Battery and Pricing

Unfortunately, the global Vivo iQOO 7 Legend only gets 66W fast charging instead of China’s 120W due to certification issues. This is on top of a 4,000 mAh battery that takes charge from a USB C port.

The Vivo iQOO 7 Legend costs $535 in India, but it may be priced differently in other markets.
