Realme Narzo 30 Launched with 90Hz Display and Helio G95 Chip

Realme appears to be going the opposite way when it comes to the Narzo 30 series. First, we got to see the upper-end models, the Narzo 30 Pro and Pro 5G and now we are finally getting the base model, the vanilla Narzo 30.

The phone brings a smooth 90Hz display and the MediaTek Helio G95 SoC. Let’s have a look.

Design and Display

Upfront, the display is a 6.5-inch LCD with 1080p resolution, but the refresh rate has been dialed down to 90Hz compared to 120Hz on the Pro model. The design is no different with a cornered punch-hole selfie camera, small bezels, and a side fingerprint sensor.

The back panel, however, has a strip going down the main camera with an arrowhead design, unlike other phones in the series.

Internals and Storage

The main driver is a MediaTek chipset yet again, but this one gets a Helio G95 SoC instead of the Dimensity 8ooU. This is paired with up to 6GB RAM, 128GB storage, and an SD card slot for expansion.

In terms of software, the phone boots Android 11 with Realme UI 2.0 on top.

Cameras

The main camera on the back is a 48MP shooter accompanied by a duo of 2MP sensors for depth sensing and macro photography. These cameras support UIS Video Stabilization, Super Nightscape Mode, and 4K video recording at 30 FPS.

The front camera is a 16MP Sony IMX471 sensor capable of 1080p video recording.

Battery and Pricing

The 5,000 mAh battery has support for 30W fast wired charging through a USB C port. This will let you charge the device up to 100% in a little over an hour. There is reverse wired charging as well.

The Realme Narzo 30 will go for sale later this week for only $195.
