Redmi Note 10 5G Launched in Pakistan for Rs 34,000

The Redmi Note 10 5G is now official in Pakistan as one of the cheapest 5G phones on the planet. It’s not simply just a 5G version of the Redmi Note 10 we have seen before, but there are a number of other differences onboard.

Design and Display

The Note 10 5G brings a slightly bigger 6.5-inch display, but this time it’s an LCD panel with a 90Hz refresh rate. It still has 1080p resolution and a centered punch hole camera for selfies.

The main camera design is slightly different as well with the metal plate surrounding 2 of the three lenses and the LED flash. The fingerprint sensor is still on the side though you can also unlock your device using the AI face unlock.

Internals and Storage

The Snapdragon 678 SoC has been swapped out for the Dimensity 700 chip, which brings 5G for cheap. There are two memory configurations available in Pakistan including 4GB/128GB and 6GB/128GB. There is also an SD card slot for storage expansion.

The phone boots Android 11 with MIUI 12.5 on top.

Cameras

The main camera sensor is a 64MP unit coupled with dual 2MP sensors for depth sensing and macro photography. The 8MP ultrawide sensor from the base model has been omitted. It is only capable of 1080p 60FPS video recording, down from 4K 30 FPS on the original.

The punch-hole selfie camera is an 8MP shooter.

Battery and Pricing

The battery capacity is the same as before at 5,000 mAh, but fast charging support has been toned down to 18W.
