Motorola Edge 20 Series Specs Revealed in a Detailed Leak

Motorola Edge 20 series has been making rounds at the rumor mill lately. We heard that the Motorola “Kyoto” would launch as the Edge 20 Lite and now we have details on the other two upcoming models, codenamed Sierra and Berlin NA.

The leak comes from the popular tipster Evan Blass who mentions that the Berlin NA will have a 6.78-inch display with 1080p resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. It will have a centered punch-hole camera for selfies. The Snapdragon 778G onboard Berlin NA will either be paired with 6GB RAM and 128GB storage or 8GB RAM and 256GB storage.

The main camera will be a 108MP sensor joined by an 8MP ultrawide unit and two 2MP shooters for depth sensing and macro shots. The punch-hole selfie camera will be a 32MP snapper. The battery capacity is rated at 5,000 mAh but there is no word on fast charging.

The global variant of this device will get a slightly smaller 6.67-inch display, but its specifications will be the same. The chipset and memory configurations will be identical, but the camera setup will get upgrades. The main 108MP sensor will come with a 16MP ultrawide camera and an 8MP telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom.

The battery will be downgraded to 4,000 mAh.

Motorola Sierra will be the most powerful phone in the series, featuring the Snapdragon 870, but it will share the rest of its specifications with the global Berlin NA. Some small differences include a 12GB RAM option, 5x lossless zoom for the telephoto camera, and a slightly bigger 4,500 mAh power cell.

It may also have an under-display fingerprint reader, which indicates an OLED display since the technology does not work on LCDs yet.

There is no official word from Motorola on these devices just yet, but we will update this space accordingly.
