Xiaomi Mi Mix 4 Appears in Leaked Images With Under Display Camera

The long-rumored Xiaomi Mi Mix 4 is finally launching soon. Rumor has it that it is going to launch in China on August 10 and will be the first Xiaomi phone to feature an under-display (UD) selfie camera, much like the ZTE Axon 20/30.

Ahead of its release, the phone has appeared in another set of leaked photos that showcase its full-screen display thanks to the UD camera sensor. These images have reportedly been obtained from the supplier’s factory.

Xiaomi is said to be using a new generation of UD cameras and the sensor appears to have been placed in the center. The bezels surrounding the display are razor-thin, giving the phone an immersive full-screen display.

Since the phone features an under-display camera, it was not possible to add 2K resolution. Hence, the phone is limited to 1080p, but it is said to be better than regular FHD+ panels.

Another interesting detail is the secondary display on the back, next to the camera. This concept is the same as the Mi 11 Ultra, but the Mi Mix 4’s secondary screen appears to be wider.

According to previous reports, we know that the Mi Mix 4 may sport a curved OLED display with a high refresh rate, Snapdragon 888+ SoC, 12GB LPDDR5 RAM, and 512GB UFS 3.1. There will be a 5,000 mAh battery onboard with 120W fast charging.

The camera setup will include a 50MP Samsung GN1 sensor, a 48MP ultrawide camera, and a 48MP telephoto lens.

As mentioned earlier, the Xiaomi Mi Mix 4 is expected to go official on August 10.
