Xiaomi Mijia Quartz Watch Brings a ‘Conventional’ Design in a Smart Package

Xiaomi has expanded its portfolio to compete with Lenovo Watch 9 as it launches the new Mijia Quartz Watch. The analog watch comes with a bunch of techie features when connected with the company’s app.

The analog watch boasts a classic and conventional look from the outside. However, also has some pretty decent features like a calorie counter and a pedometer. The watch will be available from 17th July at Xiaomi Mall, Xiaomi Youpin, and Tmall Xiaomi Flagship Store in China.

The watch is perfect for those who find charging their gadgets annoying yet still want a “smart” touch to it. It has a two-hand dial with another smaller dial beneath the two. It measures just 40mm in diameter.

The small dial on the bottom side of the watch shows the number of steps the person has taken. The watch comes with support for call notifications as well as an alarm clock. It automatically synchronizes the time and time-zones.

The Xiamoi Mijia Quartz Watch is available in following three colors:

  • white,
  • gray,
  • black

The Black version of the watch also has a CD-styled pattern that displays different textures under direct sunlight.

The watch is powered by a CR2430 battery. It also has a low-power Bluetooth 4.0 module.

It is also waterproof up to 30 meters of the depth. Currently, it is available for $52 and is one of the cheapest hybrid smartwatches in the world.
