The screen is a 6.5-inch LCD panel with 720p resolution and a waterdrop notch for a selfie camera. The rear panel features an unusual design with a huge cutout for the primary camera and the fingerprint sensor, but more than half of the cutout is blank.
The rear also includes a large “Stop At Nothing” slogan.
Under the hood, you get the MediaTek Helio P22 SoC with 2GB RAM and 64GB built-in storage, but there is also a microSD card slot for expansion.
As for software, the phone boots Android 11 Go Edition, the light version of Android 11 for entry-level devices.
The large square cutout on the back includes a 16MP main camera and a QVGA secondary lens alongside an LED flash module. The waterdrop notch houses an 8MP selfie camera.
The 5,000 mAh battery is more than enough to keep the phone going through 2-3 days of use. There is no support for fast charging.
The Tecno Spark 8 costs $130 in Nigeria and the price could slightly differ in other regions.
