Vivo S10e Expected to Launch Alongside the X70 Series

Vivo is getting ready to launch its latest flagship phones later this week. The Vivo X70 series is going to include the vanilla X70, the X70 Pro, and the X70 Pro+, but a new leak shows that we might see another handset at this event.

A new Vivo handset has been spotted at the TENAA certification authority with the model number V2130A. ITHome says this is the Vivo S10e and it is set to launch soon as it has just obtained a network access license in China.

As the name says, the Vivo S10e is going to be a cheaper model of the high-end Vivo S10 series that launched in July this year. The Vivo S10 and S10 are powered by the Dimensity 1100 SoC with up to 12GB of RAM.

The TENAA listing shows that the S10e will sport a 6.44-inch AMOLED display with a 1080p resolution. The Dimensity 1100 chip will be replaced by the Dimensity 900 with 6GB, 8GB, and 12GB RAM options and 128GB or 256GB storage variants.

The listing also shows images for the device with a familiar rectangular cutout for the main camera setup.

The camera setup will include a 64MP primary sensor with an 8MP ultrawide camera and a 2MP depth unit. The punch-hole front camera will be a 32MP shooter. Battery capacity should be a 3,970mAh battery with 44W fast charging support.

The Vivo X70 will become official globally on September 10, a day after the China launch. The S10e is expected to be unveiled on the same date.
