The Federal Excise and Taxation Office announced the news on its Twitter account on Sunday and highlighted that the app will aid the residents of the capital in the registration of vehicles, transfers, token tax, excise challans, smart cards, and the verification process.
It is a welcoming update for the residents of Islamabad as it will enable them to use these services from the comfort of their homes rather than having to wait in long lines at the Excise and Taxation Office.
The City Islamabad App is available on the Google Play Store.
