ePay Punjab shared the news on its Twitter account yesterday and stated that: “The excise and Taxation department offering a 10% rebate and 5% discount on the token tax payment if you pay through ePay Punjab. So, hurry up! Get this amazing offer to avoid any fine and pay your token tax before the 30th of September 2021”.
Earlier in August, the provincial government had reimposed the tax rebate of 25 to 30 percent stating that old cars produced more pollution and had to be taxed. The Provincial Assembly also passed a proposal, which stated that the provincial government would collect the current tax and the previous tax from the vehicle owner.
In similar news, the Federal Excise and Taxation Office has launched its services of vehicle registration, transfer, token tax among other services in the City Islamabad App.
