Vivo S10 Gets a Cheaper Model With Dimensity 900 and More

Vivo S10 has just received a cheaper model 3 months after its launch. The S10e has quietly launched in China as a minor update over the original S10. It swaps out the flagship-grade Dimenisty 1100 SoC with a mid-range Dimensity 900 5G and only a single selfie camera this time.

Other than that, the two phones are almost identical.

The design has been slightly changed around as well. You now get a waterdrop notch instead, which only has a single selfie camera. The bottom bezel is slightly thicker as well and the main camera module is a vertical triple-lens setup.

Otherwise, you get the same 6.44-inch AMOLED display with FHD+ resolution and a 90Hz refresh rate. As mentioned earlier, the Dimensity 900 SoC has replaced the Dimensity 1100 and you only get up to 8GB RAM (down from 12GB) with 256GB UFS 2.1 storage (down from UFS 3.1).

The main camera is the same 64MP shooter with an 8MP ultrawide module and a 2MP depth sensor. The singular selfie camera is a 32MP snapper. The 4,000 mAh battery is no different either with 44W fast charging support.

Vivo S10e will go for sale in China on October 20 for a starting price of $373. It will be available in White Gradient, Haze Blue, and Glaze Black color options.
