The Sindh government is set to launch the Peoples Bus Service in Nawabshah next week. This announcement was made by Sindh Senior Minister for Transport, Information, Excise, Taxation, and Narcotics Control Sharjeel Inam Memon.
Memon highlighted that the Peoples Bus Service has already seen successful operations in Karachi, Hyderabad, Sukkur, and Larkana.
He also revealed plans to introduce two new routes for the service in Karachi: one from Hawkes Bay to Merewether Town and another 36-kilometer route from Saadi Town to Merewether Tower.
Memon stated that the number of female-only pink buses has increased on various routes in Karachi, following directives from Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) leader Faryal Talpur. He also noted that Pakistan’s first electric bus service was launched in Karachi, with plans to bring in more electric buses to further ease commuting.
The minister expressed pride that the federal finance minister announced the nationwide expansion of the pink bus service during the presentation of the new federal budget. He credited the PPP for being the first to envision such a service.
Moreover, Memon urged Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif to honor his promise to provide the Sindh government with 150 passenger buses.

Assalam-o-Alaikum, Janab Sharjeel Memon Sahab, you should also consider a route from Agra Taj to Kakri Ground, Leamarket, Chakiwara, Ranchhor line, Lasbela, and some routes either bus or Chingchi from Kharadar to Bakra Peeri Mewa Shah.
Launch some development projects for cities like Shikarpur and jacobabaad these cities are one of the most neglected cities please do some projects like underground electricity cables and concrete roads instead of tuff tiles and increase electricity supply to atleast 18 hours and do work on power theft and do rigorous maintenance work on civil hospital it’s completely destroyed also the railway station needs immense work in regards to cleaning and renewal of the whole station and it needs increased capacity right not more than 500 people can sit which is very low for the population of 250k+ and also please increase train routes why tf do we have to go sukkur for more train routes why can’t we do the same within our city and also sewage system needs to be completely redesign because just with 1 hour rain most parts of city gets filled with dirty water which then increases diseases and dirty insects like houseflies and mosquitos
Its a very nice and comfortable bus service staff is also very very nice and polite even they give first preference to Its a request that the bus travel from safoora to numaish is taking 100 rs kindly make it 50 rs so that every one can travel in it and last but not the least to only make only these buses functional on the roads of karachi.
