After the Matric Results 2024, students in Class 9 are anxiously awaiting their SSC Part 1 results. More than 200,000 students sat for the Class 9 exams, which began on March 19 this year in Lahore and other cities throughout Punjab.
The Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE) Lahore, along with other boards in Punjab, is anticipated to announce the Class 9 results on August 22.
The tentative date for the announcement is August 22, 2024. However, board officials have yet to confirm the exact date of the upcoming results.
To pass Class 9, students must score at least 182 out of 550 marks, equating to a passing percentage of 33%. The total marks for Class 9 exams are 550.
Recently, the Punjab government acknowledged the outstanding academic performance of top students in the matriculation exams across the province.
Education Minister Rana Sikandar Hayat congratulated all the high achievers from various educational boards in Punjab.
BISE Lahore Controller of Examinations, Zahid Mian, shared details about the overall results. Out of 250,000 students who took the exams, 174,000 passed, resulting in an overall pass rate of 69.75%.
