Deepal S07 SUV and L07 Sedan were recently spotted at Changan Autos dealerships for testing. A lime yellow Deepal S07 SUV was seen on the streets of Karachi near the Master Changan Motors Limited plant, suggesting that road tests are underway.
These sightings have increased interest among automotive enthusiasts, indicating that the launch of Deepal’s electric vehicles (EVs) from Master Changan Motors Limited is imminent.
Deepal S07 and Deepal L07 Features
Deepal, an EV-first brand by Changan, is a joint venture with Huawei and CATL. The vehicles feature Huawei’s Harmony OS 4 and a 68kWh battery from CATL, promising a range of over 530 kilometers on a single charge, with both models offering 250 horsepower and accelerating from 0 to 100 km/h in 6.9 seconds.
Deepal L07 Sedan, a mid-sized vehicle, measures 4820 mm in length, 1890 mm in width, and 1480 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2900 mm. It has R19 wheels and a ground clearance of 150 mm. Deepal S07 SUV measures 4750 mm in length, 1930 mm in width, and 1625 mm in height, with a similar wheelbase and 20-inch wheels, offering a ground clearance of 165 mm.
Master Changan Motors Limited has yet to confirm the release date for these vehicles, but it is speculated that the official launch could happen within the next two to three months.
