Punjab Food Authority Seizes Thousands of Litres of Fake Cold Drinks

The Punjab Food Authority (PFA) seized 23,000 liters of counterfeit carbonated and fizzy drinks during a successful raid near Village Haji Shah.

A PFA spokesperson stated that the authority’s enforcement team, accompanied by the police, raided two warehouses where thousands of bottles of fake carbonated and fizzy drinks were stored, ready for distribution to markets and shopkeepers.

The spokesperson further explained that these counterfeit drinks were made using loose colors, hazardous chemicals, and polluted water, falsely marketed as famous international brands.
