Federal Cabinet Launches “Huramat-e-Parcham” Campaign After Embassy Attack

On Thursday, the federal cabinet launched the “Huramat-e-Parcham” campaign following an attack by protesters on the Pakistani embassy in Germany, where the national flag was removed.

Federal ministers shared pictures of themselves holding the Pakistani flag on social media as part of the “Huramat-e-Parcham” campaign.

Federal ministers, including Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar and others, posted messages of support for the national flag on social media, alongside pictures of themselves holding it.

“Chand Roshan Chamakta Sitara Rahey, Sab Se Oncha Yeh Jhanda Hamara Rahey,” wrote Minister for Information Attaullah Tarar.

Minister for Petroleum Dr. Musadik Malik, Minister of State for Finance and Revenue Ali Pervaiz Malik, and Minister for Commerce Jam Kamal Khan also posted images with the national flag, accompanied by the message “Pakistan Zindabad.”

Tarar urged political activists, journalists, intellectuals, teachers, lawyers, doctors, farmers, laborers, students, businessmen, expatriates, and youth to join the “Hurmat-e-Parcham Campaign.”

He stated that the Pakistani flag symbolizes national identity and sovereignty, representing the unity and solidarity of the nation. He added that August, being the month of Pakistan’s independence, would see the campaign continue throughout the month.
