BMW Dewan Motors Warns Pakistanis Against Imported Cars

Dewan Motors, the official importer of BMW in Pakistan, has issued a cautionary notice regarding the unauthorized import of BMW electric vehicles from the UK and Japan. The company has observed that certain traders and dealers are bringing these vehicles into the Pakistani market without proper authorization.

In the notification, Dewan Motors emphasized that their imported vehicles are specifically designed and homologated for use in their respective original markets. Consequently, they may not comply with Pakistani regulations and conditions like fuel quality, posing potential safety and security risks to customers.

To safeguard customers, Dewan Motors has highlighted that BMW vehicles must meet local specifications to qualify for warranty coverage. Since the imported vehicles in question do not adhere to these local specifications, they will not be covered under any warranty in Pakistan.

The notice urges customers to purchase BMW vehicles exclusively through Dewan Motors’ authorized dealer network. This ensures that customers receive the full benefits, protections, and support that come with purchasing locally approved vehicles.

Key Points:

  • Dewan Motors is the official BMW importer in Pakistan.
  • Unauthorized BMW imports from the UK and Japan have been detected.
  • Imported vehicles may not meet local regulations, posing safety risks.
  • Such vehicles are not eligible for warranty coverage in Pakistan.
  • Customers are advised to buy through Dewan Motors’ authorized dealers for full benefits and support.

For more information, customers can contact Dewan Motors directly or visit their nearest authorized dealership.

  • Just a trap to make ppl purchase from them only
Are the other cars manufactured with faults? Who are you trying to make a fool

  • “Imported vehicles may not meet local regulations, posing safety risks”

So it seems BMW’s manufactured in different countries do not abide with their countries safety laws and regulations 🤣🤣🤣🤣
And seems Pakistan main priority is safety and all cars here pass the safety tests with flying colors

  • Fooling people into buying from Dewan. Warranties are very volatile and they could just as easily say no to a claim for a local purchase vs imported. The cars being sold in Pak are not made for Pakistan they are also imported, just by Dewan instead of a dealer and then sold with a profit.

  • I shocked, about this article. It a mafia only have a power in Pakistan car industry. Dealer work to Do make ITP against car and send the custom .Pakistan custom make the duty.. But they worrying to know how Pakistani people buying in low price.

  • Total erroneous and misleading. No BMW in Pakistan is brought with full specs nor any warranty is given to the BMW equipment by any dealer. BMW specs and warranties are available on there actual web site just check it and you shall be enlightened. Total fraud with the consumer by all the dealers.
