Deputy PM Ishaq Dar Inaugurates New NADRA Centers and Mobile Vehicles

On Wednesday, Deputy Prime Minister Mohammad Ishaq Dar inaugurated 21 new NADRA registration centers and six mobile registration vehicles in Balochistan. The ceremony took place at the CM Secretariat.

The inauguration was attended by National Assembly Speaker Sardar Ayaz Sadiq, Federal Minister for Commerce Jam Kamal Khan, Chief Minister Balochistan Mir Sarfaraz Bugti, and other key officials.

Deputy Prime Minister Mohammad Ishaq Dar expressed his approval of the new NADRA centers and mobile units. He urged federal institutions to support the provincial government fully in extending services to Balochistan’s remote areas.

Earlier, Chief Minister of Balochistan Mir Sarfaraz Bugti announced that citizens will be issued free passports. During the launch of the computerized arms license system in Quetta, he revealed that the provincial government had collaborated with the passport office to simplify this process for the public.

Chief Minister Bugti announced that the government will cover the cost of passports for citizens and finance the Rs 16,000 fee for Chaman residents to obtain free digital passports through the one-document system.
