Samsung Galaxy A06 Launched With 50MP Camera and 5,000 mAh Battery for $127

Samsung has officially unveiled its latest budget-friendly smartphone, the Galaxy A06, in Vietnam. The company is expected to roll out the device to additional markets soon.

Design and Display

Its display is a spacious 6.7-inch 720p touchscreen, enhanced with a smooth 90 Hz refresh rate for improved visual experience.

Samsung has paid particular attention to the phone’s aesthetics and functionality, featuring a flat back adorned with vertical stripes. This design choice serves a dual purpose: it effectively minimizes fingerprint smudges while enhancing the device’s visual appeal. For security, the A06 incorporates a fingerprint sensor conveniently integrated into the power button.

Internals and Software

At the heart of the Galaxy A06 lies the MediaTek Helio G85 processor. Samsung offers two configuration options for this model: one with 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of internal storage, and a more robust version featuring 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage. Notably, both variants come equipped with a microSD card slot, allowing users to expand their storage capacity.

Samsung has pledged two major Android updates for the A06. This means users can expect the device to run on Android 16.

Cameras

The device is equipped with a 50MP main camera. It is capable of up to 60 FPS video recording at 1080p resolution. The front camera is an 8MP shooter inside the U-shaped notch on the screen.

Battery and Pricing

Power users will appreciate the substantial 5,000 mAh battery, complemented by 25W fast wired charging capability, ensuring extended usage and quick power-ups.
