Punjab Govt Introduces Personalized Number Plate Scheme

The Punjab Government has unveiled a new scheme allowing people to personalize vehicle number plates. This initiative, introduced by the Excise, Taxation, and Narcotics Control Department, enables residents to add a unique touch to their vehicles.

Personalized Number Plates: Customization Options

The scheme offers three categories for customization:

• Platinum Category: Allows up to eight characters, including names or meaningful words.
• Corporate Category: Designed for businesses to display their company names.
• Gold Category: Offers a mix of three letters and three numbers for more flexibility.

It is pertinent to mention that applicants must have a regular vehicle license to customize their number plates, ensuring compliance with legal standards.
