More Properties Sealed Over Violation of Parking Laws in Lahore

The TEPA Directorate of Parking and Enforcement-II operated in the Gulberg area, sealing over two dozen properties for violating parking regulations. The operation took place on Javed Iqbal Road, Sir Syed Road, and Blocks C-1, D-1, and L of Gulberg, targeting various properties, including well-known brand outlets, showrooms, private offices, food establishments, and coffee shops, which had encroached on parking spaces in violation of the rules.

The operation was overseen by TEPA Chief Engineer Iqrar Hussain and executed by TEPA Enforcement Director Furqan Zaheer.

Separately, in an operation against illegal constructions, the LDA Town Planning Zone V acted on Avenue I, Jubilee Town, Canal Road, and Raiwind Road. The LDA teams sealed and demolished over a dozen illegal structures, including shops in Block D and under-construction shops in Block F of Jubilee Town that violated approved plans.

Additional demolitions included unauthorized signs for an illegally established academy in Block A of Jubilee Town, restaurant construction near J Block Main Boulevard of Avenue-I, pillars in Block H of Avenue-I, marble halls and shops on Raiwind Road, structures near Waris Factory on Raiwind Road, and an illegal store on Canal Road. A pharmacy on Canal Road was also sealed for unauthorized alterations.
