The Board of Secondary Education Karachi (BSEK) announced the results for the 2024 Matric General Group exams on Friday, including both regular and private students, as well as those with hearing and speech impairments.
According to BSEK, girls claimed the top three positions in the exams. BSEK Acting Controller of Examinations Tariq Kareem announced the results, while BSEK Secretary Dr. Naveed Ahmad praised the efforts of teachers and staff in ensuring timely results.
He stated that 16,384 students registered for the General Group exam, with 16,132 appearing, while 253 students were absent.
In the General Group (Regular), students from Iqra Huffaz School secured the top three positions. Laiba Bint achieved first place with 88.46% marks, followed by Habiba Munir with 88.18%, and Anshrah, daughter of Muhammad Taufiq, with 88.09%.
Previously, Sindh Universities & Boards Secretary Muhammad Abbas Baloch set the deadline for all education boards in the province to announce the results of matriculation and intermediate examinations by September 15.
A press release issued on Wednesday evening stated that all education boards in Sindh have been directed to announce the matriculation and intermediate examination results by September 15 to ensure uniformity and timely delivery.
