Three Sons Shot Their Father in Faisalabad Over Property Dispute

In a tragic incident in Faisalabad, three brothers fatally shot their father on Thursday following a property dispute. According to initial reports, the father had sold land worth Rs. 500 million and distributed the proceeds among his sons, which led to tensions within the family.

Police stated that the argument escalated when the father, feeling unwelcome by his sons after the division of the wealth, was confronted by them in Medina Town. During the altercation, the three sons allegedly shot their father and fled the scene.

Law enforcement authorities are actively searching for the suspects, and one of the sons has already been arrested.

Family members, including the victim’s son-in-law, revealed that there had been previous incidents of domestic violence, with two prior cases filed against the sons for abusing both their father and mother. A disturbing CCTV video of the incident has surfaced, showing the father, identified as Nawaz Ali, being shot repeatedly by his sons while riding a motorcycle.

Police believe the argument stemmed from a dispute over the father’s continued residence in the family home following the distribution of the land’s proceeds. Authorities are continuing their investigation as they work to apprehend the remaining suspects.
