The Pakistan Meteorological Department has issued a weather update, predicting a mix of rain, thunderstorms, and strong winds in various regions across the country. Islamabad and nearby areas are expected to experience rain and gusty winds, while most parts of Sindh will continue to face hot and dry conditions.
The forecast highlights that northern Punjab, including areas like Murree, Rawalpindi, Attock, Chakwal, and Jhelum, will likely receive rain. Additionally, Sargodha, Khushab, and Talagang may also experience scattered showers.
Rainfall is also expected in other parts of Punjab, including Lahore, Sheikhupura, Sahiwal, and Toba Tek Singh, while southern cities such as Bahawalpur, DG Khan, and Bhakkar may see some rain as well.
Khyber Pakhtunkhwa will see rainfall in districts like Swat, Chitral, Dir, and Mansehra. Thunderstorms may affect Peshawar, Kohat, and DI Khan. Gilgit-Baltistan and Kashmir are forecasted to experience thunderstorms, with chances of heavy rain and hail in some places.
In Balochistan, areas such as Zhob, Barkhan, and Dera Bugti may face strong winds along with rainfall. The Met Department has urged residents in affected areas to remain cautious and prepare for potentially severe weather conditions.
