Xiaomi’s New 10,000 mAh Power Bank Has Crazy Fast Charging

Xiaomi’s newest power bank may seem ordinary due to its common 10,000 mAh capacity, but it has a trick up its sleeve that rarely comes with portable chargers at this price range.

This power bank can charge your devices as fast as 165W, and if your phone can take advantage of this charging speed, it could power your phone in less than 15 minutes. Granted, there aren’t a lot of phones or laptops that charge that fast, but this speed should still help devices that charge 120W-100W or lower.

The device’s compact form factor and integrated USB-C cable make it an ideal companion for travelers. Adding to its versatility, the power bank is equipped with dual USB-C ports, enabling simultaneous charging of two devices.

The company has provided specific charging capacity estimates for popular smartphone models. According to Xiaomi, this power bank can recharge the Mix Fold 4 approximately 1.41 times, the iPhone 15 Pro Max 1.75 times, and the Xiaomi 14 Pro 1.8 times. Its wide compatibility with various charging standards ensures it can power a diverse range of devices.

Convenience extends to the power bank’s own recharging process, with support for up to 90W input for rapid replenishment. A built-in display offers users real-time information on charging status and remaining battery level.

Currently, the device is available for pre-order in China, priced at $28. Xiaomi has not yet announced plans for a global release but since the peripherals usually come to Pakistan too, it should not be long before it becomes available in the local market.
