Xiaomi’s sub-brand Redmi has officially announced the imminent arrival of its Redmi Note 14 series. In a post on its Weibo page, the company teased the launch with the cryptic message “See you next week,” though a specific date remains unconfirmed.
The announcement promises the debut of two new smartphones, featuring enhanced durability through improved shock resistance and waterproofing. Additionally, Redmi is set to offer extended software support for these devices, potentially aligning with industry trends toward longer-term update commitments.
Images shared by Redmi corroborate earlier leaks, showcasing devices with a distinctive squircle camera island housing three lenses and an LED flash. The visuals depict two different designs, leading to speculation that we’ll see a standard Redmi Note 14 and a Redmi Note 14 Pro, with 5G connectivity expected across the lineup.
We anticipate that these two models will likely be just the beginning. Xiaomi has a history of introducing diverse variants within its Redmi Note series, suggesting more models may be in development. The company is expected to reveal the exact launch date in the coming days, building anticipation for what could be a significant refresh of its popular mid-range smartphone line.
Keep in mind that this is only going to be a Chinese launch for now and we will have to wait a while before an international release. The Note 14 series should arrive in Pakistan as well like most of its predecessors.
