Samsung’s upcoming FE model, the S24 FE, was expected to be released last month according to leaks and rumors. Nevertheless, the specs keep on leaking like they have been for a long time now. This time an unboxing video has been released by the notable leakster Evan Blass on X.
As expected, there is no charger included and the phone will come in a black cardboard box. The new FE will get blue, graphite, gray, mint, and yellow colors. Check out the unboxing video below.
The phone will be powered by Samsung’s Exynos 2400e chipset, a slightly underclocked version of the Exynos 2400. It will feature a 6.7-inch display with a peak brightness of 1,900 nits and Gorilla Glass Victus+ for protection. The phone’s battery capacity will be 4,700 mAh and it will have IP68 protection.
The main camera setup will consist of a 50MP main shooter accompanied by an 8MP telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom, and a 12MP ultrawide shooter. The front facing camera inside the punch hole cutout should be a 10MP snapper. Samsung promises that this should be the most powerful camera system on an FE phone.
Pricing leaks have suggested that the phone will start at $649 in the US with 128 GB of storage. Doubling the storage (256 GB) will take the price up to $709, which sadly represents a $50 price hike compared to the Galaxy S23 FE. Another leak from earlier this month corroborated this price hike in Europe.
