Nothing Launches Its First Open Ended Wireless Earbuds with 30 Hours Battery Life

Nothing, the parent company of CMF, known for its innovation and one-of-a-kind design approach has just launched another product called the Nothing Ear (open). As the name implies, it is Nothing’s first open-ear wireless earbuds.

They come with Nothing’s ingenious transparent design that fans have come to love over the years. Ear (open) has a three-point balance speaker system for the best audio experience possible.

Nothing stated that they developed a new sound seal system with multi-directional speakers to prevent sound leakage offering more privacy outdoors and indoors. The Ear (open) doesn’t come with ANC (Active Noise Cancelation).

Nothing ear (open) offers Bluetooth 5.3, IP54 dust and splash resistance for both buds and the case for protection from day-to-day usage. Each bud offers a dual microphone and Clear Voice 3.0 tech for seamless audio transfer.

Both earbuds weigh around 8.1 grams and each bud has a 65 mAh battery while the case has a 635 mAh battery. Nothing claims that both buds on a full charge can offer 8 hours of music playback with the case can be extended to 30 hours. The case charges over USB type-C with no option for wireless charging since it is not a premium device.

Just like Nothing Buds, Nothing Ear (open) works with the Nothing X App so there are a lot of settings you can play around with. You can adjust and share your EQ profiles, customize controls, and update the firmware of your buds using the app.

The buds also fully support the Find My network, a low latency mode for gaming, and integrated ChatGPT connectivity, which requires a Nothing phone to function.
