Punjab Chief Minister (CM) Maryam Nawaz has instructed authorities to conduct a comprehensive inspection of school buildings across the province to ensure their safety and security, as reported by ARY News.
CM Maryam has ordered the closure of schools operating in unsafe conditions and has emphasized that the government will take strict action against schools failing to meet minimum safety standards.
She reaffirmed her government’s commitment to addressing public concerns and resolving the issues faced by the people of Punjab, expressing her determination to bring positive change to the province.
Additionally, CM Maryam Nawaz stressed the importance of recognizing good work, stating that she fully supports acknowledging and rewarding exceptional performances.
The Punjab government has also introduced police reforms aimed at providing relief to the public and creating a strong deterrent against criminal activity. CM Maryam has called for strict action against criminal elements and directed the police to take firm measures against them.
In a separate development, CM Maryam Nawaz has ordered the repair and renovation of major roads in Muzaffargarh and launched a campaign to eliminate encroachments across the province.
The government has also pledged decisive action against corruption in the Revenue Department, with CM Maryam Nawaz ordering a crackdown on corrupt officials.
