The price of gold in Pakistan rose marginally on the opening day of the week to remain just above Rs. 275,00 per tola mark.
The per tola price of 24 karat gold increased by Rs. 200 to Rs.275,700 while the price of 10 grams of 24 karat gold also increased by Rs. 171 to Rs. 236,368, the All-Sindh Sarafa Jewellers Association reported.
The price of gold is only slighly below the all-time high mark of Rs. 277,000 per.
The price of per tola and ten-gram silver remained unchanged at Rs. 3,050 and Rs. 2,614.88, respectively.
The price of gold in the international market increased by $3 to $2,656 from $2,653, the Association reported.
