The Hyderabad Development Authority (HDA) has warned the public against investing in 88 housing schemes in the city that have not obtained the necessary No Objection Certificates (NOCs) or approvals from the HDA.
According to an official statement on Sunday, 57 schemes are located in Hyderabad taluka, 13 each in City and Latifabad talukas, and 5 in Qasimabad taluka. These projects are selling plots and homes without the required approvals.
The official noted that these unauthorized schemes have also established booking offices where unsuspecting individuals are being misled into investing their savings. The HDA has urged the public to verify the status of any housing project with the authority before booking plots or units.
Some of the unapproved schemes in Hyderabad taluka include Indus City, Hussain City, Three Star, Hasnain Village, Faizabad, Kiran Society, Soomro Village, Sughra Town, Sajjad Village, Gulshan-e-Shadman, Hassan Green, Nazimabad, Noor Garden, Rehaj City, Mehran Garden, and others.
