The price of gold in Pakistan fell by Rs. 1,000 per tola on Tuesday after posting marginal gains a day earlier.
The per tola price of 24 karat gold decreased by Rs. 1, 000 to Rs. 274,700 while the price of 10 grams 24 karat gold decreased by Rs. 857 to Rs. 235, 511, the All-Sindh Sarafa Jewellers Association reported.
A day earlier, the price of the precious metal in the local market increased by Rs. 200 per tola.
The price of gold in the international market decreased by $9 to $2,647 from $2,656, the Association said.
The price of per tola and ten-gram silver remained unchanged at Rs. 3,050 and Rs. 2,614.88, respectively.
