The Special Investigation Unit (SIU) of the Sindh police has made a significant arrest in Karachi’s Mauripur area. Authorities detained a suspect believed to be connected to the Indian spy agency, Research and Analysis Wing (RAW), according to ARY News.
Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Shoaib Memon announced that the accused, named Muhammad Saleem, was captured near Fish Chowrangi on Manora Road. During the arrest, police recovered several illegal items, including a hand grenade, a bomb, a launcher, and a pistol.
Furthermore, officers found service cards from various government departments in his possession.
SSP Memon also revealed that Saleem had multiple passports and identity cards with different names, which he used to mislead security agencies. Maps of Manora and Chinaport were also found with him, raising concerns about potential espionage activities.
According to the recovered passports, Saleem had traveled between Pakistan and India several times through Nepal. Following the discovery of the weapons and anti-Pakistan materials, three cases have been registered against him. Investigations are ongoing to explore further details regarding Saleem’s operations and affiliations.
