New Mövenpick Hotel to Open in Centaurus Islamabad Next Year

Swiss hospitality brand Mövenpick will open a new hotel in one of the Centaurus towers in Islamabad early next year.

The property will likely cater to outside visitors as well as hotel guests through its many dining and event space offerings.

Mövenpick Hotels & Resorts is a Swiss hotel management company headquartered in Baar, Switzerland. It has been fully owned by Accor since the September 2018 acquisition from former shareholders Mövenpick Holding (66.7 percent) and the Saudi-based Kingdom Group (33.3 percent).

It operates over 80 properties, including hotels, resorts, and Nile cruisers, with another 30 resorts planned or under construction across the Middle East and Asia. The hotel chain serves around 6 million people every year.
