Pakistani IT Firms Set to Participate in GITEX Later This Month, Aim to Generate Leads Worth $500 Million

Pakistan Software Houses Association (P@SHA) Chairman Sajjad Mustafa Syed has said that major Pakistani IT services providers, startups and exporters will be participating in the global event of GITEX in Dubai during October 14 – 18.  

Syed explained the importance of GITEX Dubai for the economy of Pakistan and exports of Pakistan as that there will be representation of IT sector of 180 countries, more than 200,000 sizeable trade buyers of IT services, 65,000 top-level IT executives from world over and 7,000 multinational companies of IT and allied industries. We are expecting to generate leads of up to $500 million for the country, he added.  

P@SHA chairman informed that following the presence of P@SHA members in the Pakistan Pavilion in previous GITEX Global editions in coordination and support of Special Investment Facilitation Council (SIFC), Ministry of Information Technology & Telecommunication (MoITT), Tech Destination Pakistan and Pakistan Software Export Board (PSEB), Pakistan has been declared 2024 event’s Tech Destination of the Year.

P@SHA Secretary General Nadeem Malik said that prominent Pakistani exhibitors and delegates include Quixas Technology Pvt Ltd, Wateen Solutions, AutoSoft Dynamics, KODERLABS, Dynamics 360, Creation Next and Bits Collision – among others.
