Kia Motors has officially teased the launch of its first electric vehicle in Pakistan, set to debut at the Pakistan Auto Show (PAPS) 2024, which begins on 25 October. The teaser, featuring the tagline “Stay tuned to Electrify your future,” signals Kia’s entry into the electric vehicle (EV) market in Pakistan, although the exact model remains under wraps.
Industry insiders speculate that the vehicle could be the all-electric Kia EV5, though this has not been confirmed by the company. The excitement around this launch is building as other automakers prepare to showcase their new offerings at PAPS 2024. Kia’s anticipated EV introduction is expected to make a significant impact, aligning with the global push toward sustainable mobility.

Tease as much as u want. No one will buy it
All EV are outside the range of common people of Pakistan,EV manufacturer focus on elite of Pakistan,who are already affording the fuel prices.
Even Scooty are too costly for middle class.
Next the big issues is you can’t find the charging facilities in around the cities and the cost of electricity is high, commercial unit is Rs 70/- with taxes.
The km per weight ll reduce the k.m you travel.
So,in current price of EV with no charging facilities, Toyota Yaris, Suzuki and other petrol cars are worth to it’s price.
There is need to bring the price of EV down.
