Infinix Hot 50 Pro Follows Soon After Hot 50 Pro+ Launch

Soon after the Hot 50 Pro+, Infinix has now launch the non-plus model, the Infinix Hot 50 Pro. Although price and availabilty details are yet to be announced, we can expect it to be a highly affordable since its a budget phone.

Design and Display

The Infinix Hot 50 Pro boasts a slim design, measuring just 7.4mm thick and weighing 190g. On the front, the smartphone features a 6.78-inch 1080p AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, delivering smooth visuals. The screen supports a peak brightness of 1,800 nits, ensuring reliable visibility even in bright sunlight. The device also includes an under-display fingerprint reader of the optical kind.

Internals and Software

Under the housing, Infinix Hot 50 Pro runs on the MediaTek Helio G100 chipset, providing reliable performance for everyday tasks and gaming. It runs on the latest Android 14 with XOS 14.5 on top, providing an intuitive and customizable user experience. It comes in two memory configurations: 8 GB of RAM paired with either 128 GB or 256 GB of internal storage.

Both variants offer expandable storage of up to 2 TB via a microSD.

Cameras

The Infinix Hot 50 Pro features a vertically aligned triple-camera setup on the back, headlined by a 50MP main camera equipped with the unusual Hi-5022Q sensor. On the front, the 8MP selfie camera captures clear selfies and supports video calls. Video recording goes up to 2K resolution at 30 FPS.

Battery and Pricing

Fueling the Infinix Hot 50 Pro is a 5,000 mAh battery that supports 33W fast charging through a USB-C port. This ensures quick top-ups and extended usage. As mentioned before, there is no word on price or availability, but the phone should come with an entry-level price tag.

It comes in three color options: Sleek Black, Glacier Blue, and Titanium Grey, offering users a choice to match their style.
