OnePlus has released an official unboxing video in anticipation of the launch of the OnePlus 13 in China on October 31st. This early glimpse showcases the device’s design and confirms several details.
The phone features a flat display with extremely narrow, symmetrical bezels, giving it a sleek, modern look. Hasselblad still supports the camera module through their partnership. It has undergone subtle design changes, removing the metallic connection to the frame that was present in previous models.
The OnePlus 13 will feature top-tier processing power because it will run on Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, which offers exceptional performance. The phone supports configurations with up to 24 GB of RAM, making it a powerhouse for multitasking, gaming, and intensive apps.
Additionally, it comes with storage options that go up to 1 TB, ensuring ample space for users who need large amounts of storage for apps, photos, videos, and other media.
One of the most interesting new features of the latest OnePlus device is the addition of magnetic wireless charging, which is the first feature of the company. While it appears that this functionality will likely require the use of special cases or accessories, it adds an extra level of convenience.
The version showcased in the OnePlus 13 official unboxing video runs on ColorOS for the Chinese market. The global version of the phone will come with OxygenOS.
Ahead of its launch, the price for the Chinese model has also been leaked, which is $659 according to tipster @TechHome100.This is about $56 more expensive than the OnePlus 12. The global pricing is expected to be higher as always.
