Sri Lanka A to Play Pakistan Shaheens In Islamabad

Emerging Asia Cup finalists Sri Lanka A are set to compete in two four-day matches against Pakistan Shaheens from November 11 to 21.

Afterward, they will play a three-match 50-over series scheduled for November 25, 27, and 29. All of the matches will take place at the Islamabad Club Cricket Ground, said the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) in an announcement on Sunday.

The team is expected to arrive in Islamabad on November 7 and will undergo a three-day training session before facing the Shaheens in the opening four-day match starting on November 11.

For each of the four-day matches, the toss is scheduled for 9:00 am, with play set to begin at 9:30 am.

The three 50-over series games will be day-night encounters, with the toss at 1:30 pm, followed by the first ball at 2:00 pm.

In addition to this year’s home series, Pakistan Shaheens have also played two four-day matches against Bangladesh A in Darwin, Australia. They further participated in two 50-over games against Northern Territory and Bangladesh A and competed in the Top End T20 series, which featured quite a few Australian domestic sides.

Most recently, the Shaheens also took part in the ACC Men’s T20 Emerging Teams Asia Cup held in Muscat.
