PM Shehbaz, Finance Minister Leave for Saudi Arabia for More Investment Talks

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Finance Minister Muhammad Aurangzeb on Tuesday left on a two-day tour of Saudi Arabia on a mission seeking more investments and future bilateral cooperation.

Their visit coincides with the 8th Future Investment Initiative Forum, set to take place in Riyadh from October 29 to 31 under the theme “Infinite Horizons: Investing Today, Shaping Tomorrow.”

Key topics for discussion at the forum include artificial intelligence, robotics, education, energy, space, public health, and sustainable development. Pakistan will showcase its economic strengths and is scheduled to participate in consultations on addressing these global challenges.

The PM is scheduled to meet with Saudi Crown Prince Muhammad bin Salman and other Saudi officials to discuss enhancing bilateral cooperation, particularly in trade, energy, minerals, agriculture, and defense.

PM Shehbaz’s delegation includes Defense Minister Khawaja Muhammad Asif, Finance Minister Muhammad Aurangzeb, Privatization Minister Abdul Aleem Khan, Petroleum Minister Dr. Musadik Malik, Commerce Minister Jam Kamal Khan, and Information and Broadcasting Minister Ataullah Tarar.
