Murree Skywalk Glass Bridge’s Feasibility Study Approved

The Punjab Provincial Development Working Party (PDWP) has approved a feasibility study for constructing a Skywalk Glass Bridge in Murree, marking a major potential tourism initiative.

The project, approved at the PDWP’s 41st meeting, is set to explore the practicality of a high-altitude glass bridge to enhance the region’s tourism appeal, with an allocated budget of Rs. 13.24 million.

Presided over by Planning and Development (P&D) Board Chairman Barrister Nabeel Awan, the meeting also saw the sanctioning of Rs. 12.042 billion for various non-formal education projects across Punjab. In addition to the Skywalk project, the P&D Board approved a Rs. 15.3 million project for creating dossiers on prospective World Heritage Sites, including the ancient city of Harappa and the historic Hiran Minar.

The meeting was attended by senior board members, P&D Secretary Dr. Asif Tufail, Chief Economist Masood Anwar, and other key officials aiming to push forward Punjab’s development initiatives across education and tourism.

  • Stop these dramas. Provide water, electricity, education, health and security to the citizens.
