Realme has just unveiled its latest flagship device, the GT7 Pro, marking several industry firsts. The device, powered by Snapdragon 8 Elite, introduces a novel underwater photography feature, setting it apart from competitors in the smartphone market.
Design and Display

At the front of this premium device lies a Samsung-engineered 6.78-inch Eco2 OLED Plus display, which Realme claims achieves unprecedented power efficiency. Perhaps most notably, the screen boasts an exceptional peak brightness of 6,000 nits, establishing a new benchmark in display technology.
The screen is slightly curved at the edges and features an ultrasonic fingerprint sensor, which is faster and more consistent than its optical counterparts. You also get IP69 dust and water resistance.
Internals and Software
The GT7 Pro is one of the first phones to feature Qualcomm’s new Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, which brings CPU/GPU enhancements, AI upgrades, and more. This can be paired with up to 5 different memory configurations, the highest being 1 TB/16 GB, but there is no memory card slot.

The phone boots Realme’s latest UI version 6.0 based on Android 15. It brings several AI features onboard such as Sketch to Image, Motion Deblur, and AI Snap Mode to enhance photo editing. There are also AI features for gaming including Game Super Resolution and Gaming Super Frame.
Cameras
Leading the GT7 Pro’s triple camera setup is a 50MP primary sensor, based on the Sony IMX906 sensor, which measures 1/1.56 inches and features optical image stabilization (OIS). This main shooter is equipped with an f/1.8 aperture lens.
Complementing the main sensor is an equally capable telephoto unit, utilizing a 50MP Sony IMX882 sensor. This telephoto camera, measuring 1/1.95 inches, comes with an f/2.65 lens and includes OIS for steady shots.

Rounding out the camera system is an ultrawide lens, carried over from the GT5 Pro model. This 8MP shooter employs a Sony IMX355 sensor measuring 1/4 inch, paired with an f/2.2 lens. Video recording capability goes up to 8K 24 FPS on the main camera.
The selfie camera inside the punch-hole cutout is a 16MP shooter.
Battery and Pricing
The GT7 Pro features the highest battery capacity of any Realme phone yet at 6,500 mAh. Even though the 120W wired charging is not as quick as some other Realme phones with 150W and 240W, it is still faster than many other phones in the market. There is no wireless charging support.
Realme GT7 Pro has a starting price of $505 in China and is available in Mars Orange, Galaxy Grey, and a white color option.
