The SEMA show is back in Las Vegas, and Nissan is showcasing five exciting new concept vehicles based on current models available in the US.
The first model, the Z Legend accessory package concept, builds on the classic Nissan Z sports car, featuring vintage-style alloy wheels, a carbon-fiber rear spoiler, and unique decals celebrating seven generations of Z cars. However, this concept does not include a new gearbox, as it still offers the existing six-speed manual or nine-speed automatic options.
Next is the Kicks Beach Patrol concept, designed for beach rescue. It has custom suspension, a raised ride height, off-road tires on 18-inch wheels, a bull bar, and a roof rack for extra utility.
The Kicks Urban Shadow concept, on the other hand, embraces city style and tuner culture. It includes new graphics, Nismo 18-inch wheels, updated coilover suspension, and a Nismo exhaust, making it ideal for urban adventures.
Nissan’s Frontier Tarmac concept is a “street truck,” co-created by Nissan Motorsports, Nissan Design America, and Forsberg Racing. Painted in bold orange with carbon-fiber accents, this truck has a 3.8-liter V6 engine that’s been supercharged to produce over 400 hp. It also features performance tires, a larger braking system, and 20-inch wheels.
The final model, Project Trailgater, is based on the Frontier PRO-4X and is built for outdoor enthusiasts. It has a custom lift kit, extra storage options, auxiliary lighting, and 17-inch wheels. Designed for camping, it includes two weatherproof TVs, powered refrigerators, a cooking grille, and even a small kitchen sink.
